Uttarakhand Yamunotri Highway wall collapsed, many stranded

More than 10,000 people are reportedly stuck on the highway leading to Yamunotri temple in Uttrakhand. This has happened due to the safety wall of the highway caving in. According to sources, it may take over 3 days to re-open the road. The district administration is trying to evacuate the passengers from some of the smaller vehicles, but people who have come from far away in big vehicles are unable to leave.
