Usher sings in Chinese

We all know he is an expert when it comes to R&B music and dancing, but did you know that Usher can speak Chinese?

The US singer said: "I love you" in Mandarin, as he performed his first concert in mainland China.

Usher, 31, also learned enough of the language to sing a track with Asian pop sensation, Wang Lee Hom.

During the concert at the Wukesong arena the Oh My Gosh star was under strict orders to keep his super toned abs under wraps, due to the conservative audience. Usher admitted he was surprised to see that unlike his other shows, fans did not join in as he sang a collection of his hits.

"You know, I want you to have crowd participation. Which is very odd, in my Asian markets, because a lot of times they don't like to sing out of respect. But I don't mind. I love for my audience to sing along with me," he said.
