Wheels within wheels
Lines between lines
Persons inside persons

So many innuendos
hypocrisy..

Misaffection
silences that gouge
deep gaping wounds

Lavished briefly
with a salve of
sweet words

And then you're
back to being a
stone man -
stone-heart, stone-mind

With a double edged knife
to twist in my soul

I am
after all
yours.
