User Experience is Everything

The concept of "user experience" seems pretty self-descriptive, but it does bring up the idea of perspective. A software or UI developer may make something that serves a practical, personal need, but for it to be useful to anyone else, he or she needs to be mindful of how well it will be perceived — and used — by others.
