Use technology to end "Ali Baba practices", proposes Johari

A new database should be set up to allow any ministries to identify genuine business interactions between bumiputra and non-bumiputra business entities to put an end to "Ali Baba practices", says Datuk Seri Johari Abdul Ghani.

The Plantation and Commodities Minister said this during the Madani 1 discussion sessions on the first day of the 2024 Bumiputera Economic Congress on Thursday (Feb 29).
