US tests new airport screening

Following the media storm that erupted over new airport screening machines, the US government is testing a system that would avoid exposing people's private parts to security personnel. The new software "eliminates passenger-specific images", replacing them with a generic outline of a human form.  It is being tested in airports in Las Vegas, Atlanta and Washington DC before wider release.
