The Cybersecurity Information Sharing Act approved by the Senate does little to actually protect individuals against hackers and other threats to their security in cyberspace, critics charge. While the population understandably feels vulnerable given the recent high profile hacking of government and corporate accounts, the bill would actually increase insecurity by allowing companies to share consumer data, with the government, without the consent of the individuals' inolved.
