US Pulls Staff From Iraq

According to CNN, the State Department has announced that it has ordered all non-essential personnel leave the US consulate in Basra, Iraq. Mike Pompeo, the Secretary of State has noted threats from Iran in a statement and a senior US official has stated in an interview that the decision to place the facility on "ordered departure" was fueled by "security threats from Iran.
