US expects hurricane to become 'Frankenstorm'

Hurricane Sandy is threatening to crash into the east coast of the United States after transforming into a huge and rare super-weather system that some forecasters are calling 'Frankenstorm.'

Eastern states have declared emergencies and residents are being urged to stock up on food, water and batteries in case the super-storm develops as predicted.
