US election circus hits Iowa

Iowa is a state under siege. On the ground and over the airwaves, this Midwest farm state is a central battleground in the race for the White House and has become a regular stop along the campaign trail for both President Barack Obama and Republican candidate Mitt Romney.

Recent polls show that Obama and Romney are neck-and-neck in the crucial swing state.
