US-Cuba Ferry Service a Big Change

The opening of ferry services between Florida and Havana is a big change that will benefit the Cuban economy and facilitate the flow of visitors. The U.S. Treasury Department issued licenses to at least two companies to provide the service. Nevertheless Washington's travel restrictions on US citizens visiting the island remain in effect, and they ferries will only be able to transport authorized travelers, including Cuban-Americans visiting relatives. teleSUR
