US Confident About North Korea

Not much has been said as of late from the White House about plans with North Korea. However, Reuters reports that on Wednesday State Department spokesman, Robert Palladino, shared that while top U.S. diplomat Mike Pompeo’s meeting with North Korean officials was postponed over scheduling issues, talks between the two countries remain in a good place. Palladino says, “We’re in a pretty good place right now. We are confident going forward. Scheduling issues can happen, but that’s OK."
