You're more than alliteration
Assonance and half rhyme
Haikus Odes and lyrics
Man just the art of you
The base of music
The base of me
Beneath the surface, poetry poetry

The waves of you
The anticipated floats while I am about shore
You lift me
Make me weightless

Your tunes
Straight from the hip
Despite atmosphere
Despite habitat
Despite audience


The rhythm you make head nods do
The dialect you make quiet tongues produce
Your tone, they weaken at the volume of you
