Uriah Hamilton - Hindu Temple

I’ve sat for lunch
On sunny afternoons
With a blond woman
I didn’t become as acquainted with
As well as I would have liked to,
But that’s ok, I’ve sat alone
And miserably lost
Quite often as well.

My life isn’t a dream,
Many men have it better.
My life isn’t a nightmare,
I should fear and cry more for others
Than for myself.

I think I’ll go to a Hindu Temple
And breathe in the fragrance
Of flowers and incense.
