Coming to you
Along paths of dream clouds
From my little ramshackle house
In the tiny city of sorrow,
The flowers watch me dance
And clap their petal hands.

You reside in the west
In an apartment of magical words
Covering loneliness with desire;
I’m not a defeated man
When I find you,
My heart is renewed.

A child by a nearby lake
Skips a stone across the water
And the sound is melodic,
Maybe we’ll sit with him in the sunlight
And learn to enjoy
Everything and everyone.
