UP experts predict decrease in COVID-19 cases from earlier projection as a result of MECQ

#TheChiefs | Professors Ranjit Rye and Guido David of the UP OCTA Research are optimistic that the MECQ will help decrease the projected number of #COVID19 cases. Assuming Metro Manila stays under MECQ for a month, experts say this could prevent 50,000 to 70,000 coronavirus cases from the initial 220,000 projection by end-August, they said.
