1. Gauhar Khan is a Muslim by birth. She is the youngest of 5 siblings and sister of the famous television actress, Nigaar Khan.

2. Gauhar Khan won the fourth position in the Femina Miss India Contest in 2002. She won the title of “Miss Talented”. Well, we can’t deny the fact that she is multi-talented, right?

3. She featured in the 2002 music video ‘hawa mein udta jaye’ by Bombay Vikings which turned out to be a major hit.

4. Gauhar started her acting career with the Yash Raj movie ‘Rocket Singh: Salesman of the year’, co-starring Ranbir Kapoor and the audience heaped praises on her for her performance.

5. She participated in the third season of the reality dance show ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa’ and won the first runner-up position.
