United States: Govt. faces imminent shutdown again

Another partial shutdown of the U.S. government is imminent this Thursday after Democratic senators announced their opposition to the budget package that includes funding for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). The move increases pressure on President Donald Trump, who already faces criticism over his immigration policies. Tensions escalated following the killing of U.S. citizen Alex Pretti by federal immigration agents in Minneapolis last Saturday.
