Unflicted is a four piece, Bucharest based, alternative-metal/stoner band, formed in the autumn of 2015, consisting of Vlad Pintilie (vocals), Alex Goga (bass), Claudiu Enescu (drums) and Vlad Bara (guitar).

The name of the band comes from a positive place, being formed by taking the root of the words inflicted and afflicted, both with negative connotations, and replacing their prefix with "un-", thus obtaining a word with positive vibes, since it "negates the negative". The band's music is hard to place in a speciffic genre, since it's influenced by different styles ranging from '90s grunge/alt-rock to nu-metal to post-grunge and stoner, the result being a somewhat eclectic mix of songs that nonetheless go well with the band's energetic live performances.

Since its formation Unflicted released 5 singles (accompanied by videos) and had the opportunity to share the stage with most of Romania's biggest rock acts, both in club concerts and festivals.

In the beginning of August of this year their latest single, Aello, was released, marking a double milestone: the band's first song written in Romanian (all the previous songs were in English) and its first composition of a more mellow, semi-acoustic nature.

At the moment the band is focused on live performances and is scheduled to release a new single at the end of fall '17.
