Festival game in Yuzawa, Akita, Japan during Tanabata festival.
I was fishing for catfish using hot dogs for bait. What I thought at first was a monster catfish turned into something else entirely. A giant spiny softshell turtle.

Today I went out using this turtle as a fishing lure! my buddy Catchemallfishing and I had a little challenge to see who can catch the most fish on this lure!
