This wine brings together fruit from three Vineyards in our rugged mountain region. R bar R Ranch is a cool, low yielding site giving bright Peach and Citrus notes. Split Rail Vineyard sits above the fog, Lending Ripeness and Rich backbone to the wine. The wine provides acidity and a nice blend of Lemon and Mineral Flavors. Our methods emphasize gentle, whole-cluster pressing, barrel fermentation and extended sur-lies aging. This vintage has attractive fruit flavors with ample toast from yeast contact and New French Oak.
