Roda I Reserva is assembled exclusively from Tempranillo grapes selected from vineyards yielding firm, structured wines of extended potential longevity. Representing slightly less than fifty percent of production, Roda I is blended in a style to appeal to the Bordeaux drinker's palate. The wine is deep dark purple in color, with subtle, complex blackberry and raspberry aromas and notes of smoke, herbs and minerals. The tannins are firm and slightly austere yet ripe, balancing expansive fruit concentration on the palate and ending in a long, refined finish.
