UN inspectors visit Syria attack site

UN chemical weapons investigators have reached the site of an alleged poison gas attack in Syria after surviving a gun attack on their convoy by unidentified snipers.

The convoy of six vehicles came under fire on Monday in the buffer zone between rebel and government areas near Damascus as it travelled to Mouadamiya and Ghouta, the sites of the suspected attack last Wednesday.
