Ukraine turmoil deepens linguistic divide

Ukraine's deepening political crisis is not only playing out on the streets, but also in the cultural and literature arena, as its 46 million population are spilt between ethnic and linguistic lines. Russian speaking areas will likely be upset by the new parliament's decision to repeal laws giving special protection to their language.
