UK's Labour faces tough battle

Campaigning in Britain's general election is heading to its final days. With polling day less than week away, the rule of the Labour party - after having lasted 13 years - is under serious threat.

According to the latest surveys, Labour, under Gordon Brown's leadership, has dropped to third place in popularity, behind the Conservatives and Liberal Democrats.

The opposition parties advanced in public support after three televised debates.
