UK language rule for overseas students

The UK government has introduced new legislation that makes it mandatory for all non-EU passport holders to have a certain level of English if they wish to come to the country to study the language.

Officials say they are cracking down on possible abuses of the visa system, but the move has angered students and many of Britain's language schools who argue it could lose the UK revenue.
