UK defence plan sends 'message to Moscow'
Description
The Defence Secretary says the Government's defebce review will show Britain is ready to respond to rising global threats. John Healey says the strategic defence review will learn lessons from Ukraine and strengthen the UK’s armed forces with better tech, investment, and support for troops. He said it would “send a message to Moscow” that the UK is boosting defence to keep the country safe - and added he has “no doubt” spending will hit 3% of GDP in the next Parliament.
