أدانت إحدى محاكم لندن ثلاثة أشخاص بتهمة التخطيط لتفجير طائرات في الجو اثناء تحليقها من بريطانيا نحو امريكا الشمالية ضيف عام ألفين وستة.
وتعتقد مصادر استخبارية ان الخطة كانت تمضي بتوجيه من تنظيم القاعدة.
وكان المتهمون يعتزمون في خطتهم هذه، استخدام سوائل متفجرة بعد تهريبها إلى داخل الطائرات.
