Gli Uendi nascono nel 2012 dall'amicizia e collaborazione decennale tra Angela e Damiano; spinti dalla passione per i Ramones e il punk - new wave italiano iniziano a scrivere e registrare canzoni con basi di batteria elettronica e pochi mezzi utilizzando la cucina come studio di registrazione.
Alla band si aggiungono il basso di Cortex e la batteria prima di Roby e poi di Marzio; con questa formazione si esibiscono live e registrano il primo EP "Poliammide" nel Sound Developement Studio di Roberto Sopracasa.
