Uber driver's car torched after attack in Nairobi

Footage shows an Uber driver's car burning after the driver was reportedly ambushed in Nairobi, Kenya on Sunday.
The driver reportedly escaped without serious injuries but was assaulted in the incident, which is said to be the latest in a number of clashes between Uber drivers and traditional taxi operators in the area.
The filmer, a local journalist, wrote online: "Uber taxi driver attacked just outside Muringa Court along Kirichwa road. Car set on fire. I'm even scared of using Uber now."
She added: "The gang that has been trailing him for a while jumped out from ther car then proceeded to pour petrol on the taxi and set it on fire. The driver managed to escape with some minor burns."
