Uber cabs drive into further trouble in Brussels
40 Views • May 04, 2015
Description
While Uber says it is a technology platform rather than a transport company, the court decided the firm’s drivers offers a taxi service open to customers armed with a credit card and access to the app.
Uber’s relationship has long been strained with authorities. In February, Belgium announced plans to make Uber cabbies meet licensed taxi driver rules without giving them the same privileges such as access to bus lanes in the congested capital.
