UAW Elects New President

According to Reuters, a union representing factory workers at the Detroit Three automakers elected a new president.
The United Auto Workers elected regional director Gary Jones to lead the union ahead of contract negotiations in 2019.
With declining auto sales in the US, contract negotiations with General Motors, Ford, and Fiat Chrysler are expected to be tough for the UAW.
But the union is also facing an investigation by the Justice Department over spending at union training centers.
