Could be joke, or could be not,
could be cold, or could be hot,
could be beautiful as me
could be that what I could be
(if I was a tree) .

Could be cloud. Or could it be?
Could it be so big and free?
Or... it could be autumn rain -
freely falling towards pain
(really? think again!) .

Could’s the passive form of can,
Mud then – passive form of man.
They say: gotta stand and fight
for the mud to get its rights
(and everything should be alright)
(yeah, right…!)

But it actually might!
