Tyre explosion blasts mechanic into the air

This is an astonishing moment a mechanic was blown off his feet after a tyre exploded in front of him. The CCTV video, filmed in Changsha City in southern China's Hunan Province on May 29, shows two men inflating a tyre. The tyre suddenly explodes, catapulting the worker into the air. The worker turns a full 360 degrees in the air before landing back on the ground. The man suffered serious injuries and was sent to hospital for treatment. However, he is set to make a full recovery.
