Description
South Korea's weather agency is warning that yet another typhoon could lash the Korean peninsula in the coming week.
The Korea Meteorological Administration says the season's 18th typhoon, Mitag, which formed in the Philippine Sea early Saturday is moving at a fast pace in a northwesterly direction.
It says Mitag might affect South Korea's resort island of Jeju and southern coastal areas around Wednesday, packing strong winds and heavy rain.
It could also sweep over parts of Japan and Taiwan next week.
