Typhoon grounds Chinese navy vessel

Nan Jiao 86, a 42-metre military vessel from the People’s Liberation Army’s Hong Kong garrison, was washed ashore at Kau Yi Island by Typhoon Mangkhut, the most intense storm on record to hit Hong Kong, on September 16, 2018.
The PLA navy sent sailors to check the vessel on Wednesday morning. They refused to answer any questions, describing the mission as “secret”.
