Description
The council's submitted a bid to central government to be considered as one of 30 local authorities to receive funding to provide places for children with special educational needs and disabilities.
It comes after a lengthy campaign from parents of Abbey Court school to build a new secondary site with fears for a lack of future places.
Cllr Andrew Mackness, from Medway council, joined us in the studio to talk more about the announcement.
