Two Injured In Explosion At NP

A storage tank at NP's Head Office at Sea Lots, exploded, on Friday afternoon.

It sent shock waves across downtown Port of Spain.

NP workers had to be evacuated, with police and fire officers rushing to the scene.

The fire was eventually contained, and the compound declared safe for workers to return.

But, as the smoke cleared, two people had to be taken to hospital, for treatment of injuries they sustained.
