Two cops charged in rape and extortion case
Description
Two policemen who were suspects in a rape-and-extort case involving an underaged girl have been hauled to the Ampang Sessions Court.
L/Kpl Muhammad Fazrul Razzi Yunus, 31, was charged on Wednesday (Jan 17) with raping the girl inside a police patrol car while still on duty, as well as committing unnatural sex, carnal intercourse against the order of nature, and sexual assault against the 17-year-old victim near Persiaran Saujana Ampang at 10.30pm on Jan 9.
At the Magistrate's Court, Muhammad Fazrul also faced another extortion charge with his partner, Kons Muhammad Adib Aikal Sharul Nizam, for extorting RM500 from the victim and her boyfriend, threatening to spread their intimate video near Jalan Ampang Hillview on the same date and time.
