Two charged over courtroom brawl

It looks like any ordinary courtroom scene as murder suspect Jose Santiago is brought in for a hearing in Springfield, Massachusetts.

It's far from that as two members of the alleged victim's family make a lunge for the defendant.

Court security officers manage to stop two men reaching Santiago.

He's bundled out of the room as his would-be attackers struggle with court staff.

Eventually they were pinned down and handcuffed.

The father of Santiago's alleged victim and a second man have been charged with assault and battery on a public employee.
