TWO BY ELECTIONS SIMULTANEOUSLY, PM SAYS

The Prime Minister says there are two Local Government elections that "will be held at the same time", but he's yet to announce exactly when they will occur.

This follows the death of one regional corporation chairman last December and the ruling of the Appeal Court earlier this week, in an election petition filed by the UNC in one district where there was a tie.
