Twitching meat goes viral

A large slab of fresh meat twitches and throbs on the chopping board in a family home. The incident was filmed in the municipality of Temerloh in the Malaysian state of Pahang and the footage was shared on Twitter by netizen ‘Yo! Artist’, real name Tero, where it is going viral with 950,000 views. Tero accompanied the clip with the message: “Why is the meat moving? My mum refuses to cook it because she is so afraid.” The incident took place during the Islamic holiday Eid al-Adha to honour the willingness of Prophet Ibrahim to sacrifice his son Ismael as an act of obedience to God's command. The sacrifice was later replaced by a lamb.
