Twisted Strange - Writing

I'm writing these words
For lack of anything else to do
I feel hurt and broken
All because of you

You held my heart
Grasped my care
You had the attention of my love
You kept my tears back when I was there

Yet somehow that changed
I waited for you and you left for a friend
Now I see that you forgot me
And we had our end

It stills hurts
It still makes me cry
It still proves to me I have feeling
It shows how much you lie

So I write down these words
So I won't cut away
So I won't swallow those pills
So I wonder straying far from okay
