Twinky Sujanani - Tenth Grade

'Promoted to tenth grade! ' with such excitement I say
So proud of myself to come such a long way
I have stepped into the door of high school
for me the sound of it is just too cool!

But with the excitement comes tension
Studies, boards, formative plus detention
Now all I need is a bit of satisfaction

One big question- ever thought of eleventh?
Computer engineering, business, science, management or art
All this just speeds up the beats of my heart

Confusion- confusion is all over
But there is a solution to this chaos
Do what you enjoy and do it best
and then you just have to leave the rest

Its not all that bad
There's nothing about it which should make you sad
It's just now that I have to decide
which way to choose and which one to push aside

Life is like a novel
every page teaches us something new
But the art of filling it lies in the hands of few
