Twilight Whispers - I Wish

You read my thoughts through misty eyes,

Like thunder threatens sunny skies,

You think you know what's wrong with me,

You don't - you won't set me free,

You tell me that I'll be okay,

That the sun will come out again one day,

But do I believe you? Do I trust you?

Do I have faith enough to even come near you?

You're trying to control me, you're trying to win,

You're stealing my happiness and warmth within,


I wish, you would leave me alone.
