Turkish PM Erdogan meets protest representatives

After close to two weeks of demonstrations Turkish Prime Minister Tayyip Erdogan sits down with a group of protesters to discuss the wave of anti-government demonstrations across Turkey.

The meeting follows unrest after riot police cleared the Istanbul square at the center of the demonstrations.

Some demonstrators say they have no representation at the table.

"We think that it is absurd and wrong to call this group. They have nothing in common with the lifestyle and problems of the people living in this country. They are not able to represent the demands of people who are showing this resistance."

Others say they know too little about the people attending the meeting.
