Turkish MPs back operations in Syria and Iraq

Turkey's parliament has voted to allow foreign troops to use Turkish military bases.

That could mean US and coalition forces launching attacks on ISIL fighters in Syria and Iraq from Turkey.

Turkish soldiers also have a renewed mandate to cross the border and carry out military operations.
