Description

Turkish Battle Axe, 16th Century. The axe has a curved form; it is decorated on both sides with gilded inscriptions. In the central medallions on both sides, Allah is invoked. On the hammer of the axe the name of Sultan Mehmed Khan III (1566 - 1603) is inscribed.
