Turkey Will Ban U.S. Products In Construction

Turkey's environment and urbanization minister announced that Turkey will no longer use U.S. products in construction. According to Reuters, he said the move was made in response to what he called “speculative moves in the U.S. dollar.” The minister said that Turkey was going through an economic siege. This year the lira has lost more than 40 percent of its value, and it traded at a record low on Monday.
