Turkey poised for snap November polls

So says President Recep Tayyip Erdogan after the ruling AK party, which he founded, failed in efforts to form a coalition with opposition
groups after losing its majority.
“We will take our country to snap elections,” Erdogan told reporters in Istanbul.
“The person tasked by me will form a caretaker government and cabinet with members of parliament and, if necessary, with members from outside parliament.
“And with this cabinet we will go to the polls. The date for the snap election is November 1. God willing, Turkey will go to the polls again.”
